3 Steps To Create a Happy & Productive Day

Have you ever had one of "those" days?

Ya know, the kind...when you get halfway through it, you feel like you've run a marathon but haven't gotten anywhere? Later, you collapse into bed exhausted and frustrated that you've accomplished so little and wasted a good day. 🥱

We've all been there, trust me! 

But.... it doesn't have to be that way.💡You can follow these 3 steps and create a happy & productive day. 

Create a Happy & Productive Day

1) Plan to carpe your diem~ Good days are much more likely to occur if you plan on them. 👍 When you have a plan to seize the day, it will help you overcome the unexpected interruptions that are likely to happen. Simply get started by writing down what is going to make your day great, then work your plan. ✍️ And by the way, just because something seems simple, doesn't mean it doesn't work.👌

2) Turn off the soundtrack~ Shut down the perpetual worry loop in your head.🧹Overthinking and worrying are both results of thinking too much about anything other than what's right in front of you. Calm your mind by narrowing your focus. Sink yourself into one specific task: color, garden, read, or go for a walk. 🏞

Just do one thing. Narrow your focus.

3) Follow the headlights~ Let's say you are driving from New York to California 🛣 You plan the trip, get the map, and head out on the road. Let's say it's pitch black outside, so you put on the headlights. You trust the headlights and go as far as their reach, and when you get there, you go as far as their reach again.

You trust that the lights will lead you by showing the way. Follow the map, trust the headlights, and eventually, you will get to your destination. Even if you have an unexpected stop or two, you know where you are going and trust you will get there. 😎

Your day is exactly the same way! To create a happy & productive day, you need to plan. You need to have goals.

Only think about what the headlights are shining on next. 🚘 What is right in front of you~ and go seize your day, your way!
