Thinking things should be different is one of the root causes of unhappiness.
It automatically robs you of joy in the moment because you are tied up in a "future" that may or may not happen.
How can you enjoy anything if you think it should be different? If what is, is wrong?? Asking yourself how can I just BE and embrace this moment will invite happiness in, it will shift you.
