Dance YOUR Way to a Fit Mind

Welcome to week 22 of The Weekly Well! Here is where you will find weekly inspiration to live your best life.

Yes, I am crazy this week! You know why? Because friends, I love to dance! I don't think I'm particularly good at it. In fact, I know I'm not! But a long time ago, I made the decision not to care because dancing makes me feel good. I totally come alive when I dance.

And that brings me to what I want to talk to you ladies about this week:

Our emotion is changed with motion.

I have yet to meet a song that I dance to that doesn't leave me feeling electric and alive. How old you are, if people are watching, and what other people think just don't matter. The reality is I don't care, and I don't want you to either!

Dance if that's what makes you feel good! Crank up the music while you are cooking dinner and dance around that saute pan!! Create some playlists with your favorite jams, so they are ready when you need them. You can have exclusive dancing playlists for cleaning, gardening, cooking, and whatever else you can think of!

Dance Away Overthinking

I want you to get into moving your bodies! Ladies, we know it works! I say it over and over, but I practice what I preach. Today I have been dancing around my office trying to get some things done. This was a great reminder to me, and one that I want to pass forward to you.

When we move, our emotion is changed.

If and when you find yourself overthinking, overanalyzing, puking on every thought, I want you to get out of your head and get into action!

Get up and dance!

Clearly, I don't care what it looks like....did you see the video I just shared with you?! More importantly, I don't want you to care what it looks like. Remember that saying, "dance as if no one is watching?" Do that! Dance for you and you alone!

Wrap It Up

Before I leave you until next week, go move, dance, have fun, and lighten up a bit! When you do, your mind is going to be more fit, clear, alive, and relaxed. You may even find some laughs and a big ole dose of happiness! Until next week...
