I am so excited to be writing to you today because it’s my 48th birthday 🥳 (and to see how I’m celebrating with you, make sure you read this all the way to the end)! Yes, old to some of you and younger than a whippersnapper to others, lol! Why am I really sharing my birthday with you (not to get virtual confetti or balloons at all, ahem my favorite color is pink 😜 😜)? Here's the deal, I share because of 2 reasons:
- I honestly can’t remember a time when I was fuller of gratitude~ as in holy shit, how lucky am I??!! 48 years on this amazing journey of life~ I am blessed, and I am so happy to be where I am in both my personal and professional life. Every week, I get to know my subscribers more with your heartfelt emails and stories (please keep them coming btw). Life is good, and it’s better because we are in it together 💕🙏.
- To me, I’ve always thought human nature was a fascinating concept. So much so that I received degrees in Psychology & Mental Health. How we think, how we behave, and why we do what we do have always intrigued me. I’ve taken that intrigue and carried it into my coaching practice. I’ve tried to help women understand how our minds are not that different than our bodies. We need to nurture and love our mental health just like we need to nurture and love our physical bodies. And once you start to do that, I mean really take care of your mental health, just as if it were physical health, you’ve cracked a secret code to a happy and healthy life. 🙌
It's Your Birthday Too!
Friends, I want nothing more for you than to feel this joy and crack that code, not just today, but on a regular basis. When you gain a better understanding of your mental processes and develop mental strength and positivity, you will never have stinkin-thinkin and overthinking ruin one of your days again. Ok, that’s right; we are all human, so yes, of course, you will occasionally let negativity creep in, but you will know how to get rid of it quickly. Want to know the best news? You can learn and work out your mind, just like your body. 🤯
You can get physically fit, and you can get mentally fit. If you need to lose 30 pounds, you can go to a trainer and/or hire a nutritionist who will help you lose weight and start a diet plan of your own. These are programs you could follow to get results for physical health. Well, guess what? Our minds work the same way~ we can work out and train to get the results we want. 🏋️♀️
So friend, whether it is your birthday or not, I hope you will take this opportunity to treat today as if it were. You are a gift, and the world is better because you are in it! 🛍 🎁
