Life is Like a SnowglobeThere is an excellent chance I have never met you personally. Yet, I feel like we would probably agree with the fact that life has a funny way of unfolding sometimes, doesn't it? And we probably have both heard some version of "Who would have ever thought..." dozens of times over the last month.🤷‍♀️

I don't know about you, but I'm still seeing and learning something new each day in this new "normal."🤔Life has a funny way of unfolding...

I heard this analogy the other day and think it perfectly captures what I'm trying to say:

Life is like a snowglobe. When you shake up a snowglobe, it begins snowing like crazy....whirring around, producing a fever of activity.❄️And if you shake it hard enough, it's difficult to see the scene in the middle. Is that a little house? Or maybe Santa and his reindeer? Perhaps a small red truck with a tree in the bed?🎄Or an Angel? Maybe it's an entire little village with houses and children having a snowball fight? ☃️

Whatever the scene in the middle, one thing is for sure, the snowstorm has to settle to see what's inside. And here's the thing my friends, you will, unless you have no patience and begin to shake it up again. In which case, the storm worsens, and the snow hides the secrets of the globe.🌬And maybe, just maybe, you do that over and over, and the snow never has a chance to settle. Then, you would miss out on the magic that lies within. 🌌

Life is Like a Snowglobe

Friends, right now, (as in right now in this moment in time), we can look at our lives, from the safety of our "sequestered time" and see our lives as a giant snowglobe. We have no choice but to face our snowglobe. We can look at that as a blessing or a curse. We've been forced to stop. Stop the whirring of activity. Quiet the storm of our lives. The snow is settling, and we can see what's inside. Regardless of whether you wanted to or not! Clarity is there for the taking.👁🧘🏼‍♀️

I welcome you to take this time to go deeper....

Take a deep breath in. What do you see? It's all there. The scene has unfolded, the only thing left is to see what's inside. The core. What has become of your priorities? Forced or not, they are there. Prioritizing your _____________ has had a domino effect on what? Your relationships? Health? Finances?

The snow has settled. You are clear. What values have emerged? Quiet? Less stress? Family dinners? 🌞

There Are No Right or Wrong Answers

The snow is quiet for now, this is your time. But know this, spring will come, and you will have a choice to make. When you are no longer forced to stop, will you immediately shake up your snowglobe? Slightly? Halfway? Not at all?

Life is like a snowglobe, but the choice of whether to shake it is still yours.

There is a saying, In order to change the fruit, you must change the root. My friend, if you've been thinking of change, there has never been a better time then now to look at the root.

Until next time, remember you got this, and I got you! 👍👭

XO,

Denuelle
