As a society, we spend a lot of time, money, and energy on our physical health. Pinterest runneth over with healthy & fresh "from the garden" recipes. We pay for gym memberships and join running clubs. All of this, to take care of our bodies and keep them healthy, strong, and free of disease. 🏋️♀️
If we do not take care of bodies, lots of problematic things can happen....including ailments and disease.
Our thinking is no different. A way to avoid more dis-ease is to train your mind to recognize that the present is perfect. 🤔
I know, BIG statement, right. But bare with me.
Here's what I am saying. We can believe things are perfect the way they are because we have the ability to do just that.
Thinking they should be different or they aren't the way they should be, DOES NOT change anything. All it does is make us feel bad. It does not change what is.
The Present is Perfect!
Here's the breakdown:
We THINK the problem is what is. 😬
BUT what is, is not the problem. The problem is our ego trying to convince us things should be different.
The solution is accepting what is and eventually even loving what is. I know TALL order, right? 🤷♀️
